Shaker doubles team, Geier & Podl advance to Districts

The Shaker tennis doubles team of Wilder Geier and Josh Podl entered the OHSAA Solon Division I Tournament last week as an unseeded team and went on to finish 3rd to advance to this week’s DI District Tournament at Oberlin College. Geier and Podl opened play with a 6-2, 6-4 win over the #4 seeded

Boys Tennis finishes 2nd in GCC

The Shaker Heights Boys Tennis team finished  2nd in the Greater Cleveland Conference Tennis Tournament held last week at the Solon Community Park tennis courts. Wilder Geier (1st singles), Josh Podl (2nd singles) and Mathieu Girard (3rd singles), all came away with 2nd place finishes to help propel the Raiders into 2nd place behind the

Boys Tennis blanks Strongsville, 5-0

The Shaker Boys Tennis team improved their overall record to 5-1 on Monday with a 5-0 victory over the Strongsville Mustangs. Winning matches at singles were Wilder Geier, Mathieu Girard and Aidan Stibora.  Doubles match winners were: Josh Podl/Eli Dykema and DC Benincasa/Gavin Miller.
