Lyle Yost – 2018 OHSAA State Diving Champion!

Junior Lyle Yost won his 2nd straight OHSAA State Diving Championship on Saturday at the C.T. Branim Natatorium in Canton, with a total score of 602.40.  Yost also won the 2017 State Diving Championship so now has posted back-to-back titles in his sophomore and junior years. Chachi Gustafson takes 2 3rd place finishes at Districts, Advances to States

Junior Chachi Gustafson posted 2 3rd place finishes in the 100-yd Butterfly and the 100-yd Backstroke at Saturday’s OHSAA DI Northeast District Swimming Championships at Cleveland State’s Busbey Natatorium. With those third place finishes, Gustafson has qualified for Friday & Saturday at Canton’s C.T. Branin Natatorium.

Shaker Divers Lyle Yost & Leah Albers advance to OHSAA District Diving

The OHSAA Sectional Diving competition took place Thursday night at Solon High School and Shaker Heights’ Lyle Yost (1st) and Leah Albers (11th) both qualified for next week’s OHSAA District Diving Tournament at Cleveland State University.
