Meet Recap

The Shaker Girls Cross Country Squad continued their winning ways today, advancing to the Northeast Regional Championships with a third place finish at the Medina District. Sophie Carrier repeated as District champion, dropping the school record in the process to 17:52. Both Alexa Jankowsky and Avery Blazak also ran impressively, qualifying for regionals as individuals with 7th and 14th place finishes respectively. Freshman Andrea Harrison had the guttiest performance of the day, overcoming the heat to finish just three seconds off her personal best. Hailey Stupay, Charlotte Lo, and Orianna Anderson completed the impressive performance. The varsity seven will travel to Boardman next week in an effort to qualify for the state championships for the third straight season! Go Raiders!!
