Meet Recap

The boys cross country team ended there regular season with a fifth place finish in the loaded Greater Cleveland Conference. State ranked Medina defeated reigning state champion Solon for the title. The team continued to pack run, with only 19 seconds separating the first and seventh runners on the team. Malik Joseph led the way with his time of 17:20, followed by Matt Burnard, Zak Reape, Vivek DiVakarla, David Carpenter, DeAndre Hall, and Jake Lehner. The competition gets no easier for the Raiders as they head to the Medina district next week in their battle to qualify for regionals. A tip of the hat to the team that finished their season today with some very solid performances in the open races, including Gabe Dacanay, who dropped his p.r. down to 18:16 in his final high school cross country race! Great job Shaker!
