3-0 Raiders 17th in 1st AP State Football Poll

The Shaker Raider football team’s 3-0 start to the 2015 season has garnered them some early season attention.   After outscoring their opponents 111-9  in their first three games, the Raiders received 17 points to land them in a tie for 17th with Beavercreek HS in the 1st Associated Press State football poll.

The young Raiders face their first real test of the season when they open GCC play against 2-1 Strongsville on Friday night at 7pm.

Here’s how a state panel of sports writers and broadcasters rates Ohio high school football teams in the first weekly Associated Press poll of 2015, by OHSAA divisions, with won-lost record and total points (first-place votes in parentheses).
